What a sensational conclusion to our module! We kicked things off by reviewing our Science experiment to see which environment grew our plants the best, then turned those findings into thoughtful letters to Miss Yates, reflecting on how our discovery teaches us to treat the world and its nature with care. It was a vital week for digital literacy as we marked Safer Internet Week with a tricky AI quiz and our final Computing lesson on email; the children are now experts at spotting "spam" and "scam" messages and know exactly when it’s safe to hit reply. We also celebrated Mental Health Week by sharing some truly wonderful student projects and engaging in reflective activities. For our module reflection, we took part in a fun rating activity where we moved around the room to "vote" on how strongly we agreed or disagreed with statements about everything we have learned throughout the term. In Maths, we have been mastering perimeter by measuring the distance around the outside of 2D shapes; we had a blast drawing our own shapes on giant squared paper, counting the lines, and using our number bonds to calculate totals with fantastic accuracy. Finally, to celebrate our physical progress, we had an absolute blast in PE where we combined every single dance move we have learned throughout the module into one giant, high-energy disco! It has been a brilliant week of reflection, safety, and hands-on discovery—a perfect way to wrap up our inquiry!
