Welcome to our latest update! It has been an action-packed term, and we’ve been busy interviewing pupils from across the school to find out what their favourite moments have been. From exciting trips to creative classroom projects, here are the highlights from Key Stage 1 and 2.
In Year 1, the classroom has been buzzing! Sammy’s top moment was P.E. because he loved trying out so many different activities. Kanna has been our language expert; she thinks Spanish is "fantastic" and loves how much her vocabulary is growing. Meanwhile, Danny really enjoyed Inquiry, where the class explored a huge variety of interesting topics.
Moving up to Year 2, P.E. remains a massive hit. Gabe loved getting stuck into all the different sports and exercises. We also have some budding mathematicians in the house! Ezra and George both chose Maths as their highlight—Ezra said he absolutely adored it, and George agreed it was the best part of the week.
The excitement didn't stop in the older years! In Years 3 and 4, Maths was the most popular choice once again. Kristene, Dominika, and Freddy all said it was their favourite subject this module. However, JJ had a different highlight: the incredible trip to London that happened just this week! For those who prefer being active or creative, Rosey loved P.E. because of the exercise, and Mia had a brilliant time expressing herself in Art.
In Year 5, the pupils have been diving deep into their topics. Judah was fascinated by the legends of the Greek Gods, while River stayed active and enjoyed every second of P.E. Leo’s highlight was Art, and Francesco really enjoyed the unique challenge of learning about logography.
Finally, in Year 6, things got very creative! Zach, Daniel, and Ilaria all agreed that soap carving was a major highlight. Zach even gave it a 5-star review, quoting: "It was fantastic and it was brilliant!"
It’s been a fantastic module for everyone. We can't wait to see what Module 4 brings!
