This information will allow you to see where your 1st grade child's score "places" them on the grade level continuum of learning. These scores are for a 1st grade student taking the assessments and can't be utilized for students in other grade levels.

Commentary/Input
When looking at the I-Ready report you should bear the following in mind. This report is based on only HALF the year being taught, but the goal is for the WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR. The goal would be to see growth of around 50% for PROGRESS TO ANNUAL TYPICAL GROWTH, and around 40% for PROGRESS TO ANNUAL STRETCH GOAL. If your student is well above those measures, I suspect they are good "digital/online" learners, but don't conclude they have learned all they need for the school year.
NOTE -- It is NOT uncommon for a student to show little or no growth on an assessment (ie. I-Ready), and yet show HIGH growth on the other (ie. NWEA). I believe that is due to the nature/bias of digital testing and how questions are "asked", and answers measured. I have seen this consistently, over the years, with top performing students. That being said, we are looking for strong growth in at least one measure. If a student shows little to no growth in both assessment tools, I believe that is a clear message we need to take further action to remedy a student struggling to learn.
