We want to thank all of our parents that came out to support our amazing students! We enjoyed dinner while showcasing our enrichment activities!
On November 16, 2021, Ms. Smith was announced as the District's Teacher of the Year!
Ms. Smith as been a phenomenal asset to the YES staff for more than 3 years. She is dedicated to the success of our students as well as committed to the success of our community.
Seticia Smith, family engagement liaison at Oak Hill Middle School also employee for the YES after school program showed appreciation to the YES parents by thanking them for their involvement and commitment to the YES program.
Our YES Students are working hard to become Academic Olympic Champions!

Lights on Afterschool is a special celebration in honor of the various programs that take place after the traditional school day.
The students created lightbulbs that includes their favorite part of YES or why they like the YES program at Oak Hill Middle school. The lightbulbs will be hung throughout the school, outside of the different classrooms used for YES as well as in the YES office.

Our new Olympic enrichments are off to an amazing start!
We are in full swing with our academics as well as our enrichment activities.
Our Olympic Champions must first focus on academic excellence. Teachers are finding creative ways to help students reach their academic goals.
After academics teachers incorporate innovative enrichments with connections to real world academics, such as team building, leadership skills, problem solving, character education and much more.
Ms. Lamar's gamers enjoy a fun game of twister.
Ms. Shinholster and Mrs. Byrd's crew are having a friendly competition in the game of Prodigy.
Mrs. Liggins' Champion Readers are tackling the story of, "Simon Biles".
Mrs. Scott has her crew creating a fire plan for their house plans.
