The internet has a wealth of information and sites to help you prepare for the ACT, SAT, ACCUPLACER, ASVAB, and even tests in your classrooms. Explore some of these and remember to start early, pace yourself, and focus. Being prepared, regardless of which test you are about to take, will boost your self-confidence, lower your anxiety, and put you in the best position to achieve your goals.

BHS is sponsoring the Cantrell and Waller ACT Boot Camp Saturday, November 7th. This is our second year to do this and we have had positive reviews from our students. The cost to attend is $50. Sign up and pay your registration at The Counseling Center in the North Building. The class will be limited according the number of students. We must have at least 50 students sign up to make the class.

Khan Academy- Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan to provide "a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere". The organization produces micro lectures in the form of YouTube videos.
SATpractice.org- This link will take you to the Khan Academy website that has partnered with College Board to prepare you for the SAT.
ACT Test Prep- Here are the options for test prep offered by ACT. I like the FREE PRACTICE QUESTIONS link the best. You can also upload the phone app and practice where ever you are!
PSAT Practice- 11th graders who plan to take the PSAT should look over these practice questions. Remember, only the PSAT taken when you are an 11th grader qualifies you for the National Merit Program.

March 2 Success is a FREE website providing our users access to online study materials to help improve their scores on standardized tests such as state exit exams, college entrance exams, military entrance exam (ASVAB) and others. Our content includes self-paced study programs in Math, English and Science, with a focus of materials on grades 8-12. The High School Math and Verbal Skills course and College Readiness online course each start with a pre-assessment test, using the results to generate a custom learning path. The learning path includes interactive lessons, quizzes and additional practice tests. The High School Science Hub provides lessons and practice tests in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
