We still have about 10-15 openings on each day. Career Education (Wednesday) is filling up the fastest. The Searcy and Heber Springs (Thursday & Friday) days have plenty of open spaces.

The schedule will look like:

9:00 Event Begins in Owen Center Auditorium

9:00- 10:00 ASUB Overview/Academic Presentation

10:45-noon FAFSA Workshop/optional Tours

noon-12:45 Lunch (school notes delivered at this time)

We have our Spring Vanguard Days officially booked! They will follow a similar format to our previous Vanguard Days. They are broken down by division- if you or your students have a questions as to which day to sign-up, feel free to call/email/DM me on Instagram (@asubadmissions.) All days will follow the same format, even the days on the Searcy and Heber Springs campuses.

We have some exciting updates for you this Spring. If you or your students have any questions, please give me a call.

Housing Application Process

We have had some changes regarding our housing application process and this will affect your seniors. We have transitioned to a semester/year lease, which students will choose when they apply, and it is the easiest lease system of all Arkansas colleges. The main differences are that students must be admitted to ASU-Beebe and paid the deposit before applying for housing. This is so that their housing information goes to their ASUB email instead of a personal/high school email address. Also, students must use their student email (they get this when they are admitted to ASU-Beebe) and ID number in order to complete the application as well. I am going to see about adding a student's ID number to their acceptance letter to help with that. Refunds for housing deposit will be available only if no rooms are available. The priority deadline for Fall 2021 students is April 1st to secure room availability and room preferences. Housing assignments will be released via email in May.

Vanguard Days

We are working on solidifying details of Spring Vanguard Day dates, but I want to let you know we are thinking March 8-12th, split by department and campus. More details to follow.

Institutional (ACT-based) Scholarships

We are also making adjustments to our institutional scholarships that will affect your seniors. The main difference is that students will need to login to their portal to accept it. The requirements to be admitted, ACT-test based eligibility, costs covered, etc. remains the same. The process will look like the following:

Student accepted into ASU-Beebe by April 1st
Accept Scholarship by April 12th
1. Log in athttps://mycampus.asub.edu/
  - Select Student Portal Home Page
2. Select the “My Financial Aid” tab on the left
3. Click on the link titled “Scholarship Offer”
4. Follow the links in the Scholarship Offer Section to complete the following:
  · Accept/Decline ASU-Beebe Scholarship Offer
  · Accept the awarding and renewal requirements of ASU-Beebe Scholarship Offer (If accepting the scholarship)
Registered for classes by June 18th
