A message from Whitney:
Thank you so much for working with me, and I am wishing you and your students well this semester! Even though I presented this morning, I wanted to give you some information that I think you and your students should know about Hendrix.
Here is a quick video about Hendrix.
As of last year, we are test optional. When we say that we mean it, we are a holistic process and believe a student is more than what they can do in a three hour test. Again, our first application for admission deadline is our Early Action I on November 15th. We are both test optional for admission and financial aid.
We have a program called Tuition Advantage. If chosen, based on your academic record, leadership, extracurricular and volunteer activities, we will match the published in-state tuition at the flagship university in your home state. For Arkansas, your flagship institution is University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.
Currently, we have an awesome series called “Webtalks with the Hendrix Community,” which ranges in topic from Hendrix to the application. This week’s webtalk is entitled “Get to Know Conway and Central Arkansas,” here is the link to the landing page for all the webtalks. We also have a daily “Hendrix Virtual Experience” that would allow your students to learn more about Hendrix and our Odyssey program.
We are also able to host daily visits on campus. Those occur Monday-Friday at 10 am and 1:30 pm. Here is the link to sign up for a visit.
I have daily virtual office hours, where I meet with students who want to learn more or have questions. Please feel free to share my contact information with your students as found on my signature.
