School spirit is important at ASL and it is fun to participate in!
Our school colors are ORANGE, GREEN & PURPLE! Our school colors are different because we are different!
Team Wear Tuesdays will be once per month during School Family Assemblies and School Spirit Weeks! Feel free to get yourself decked out in your finest school colors/school swag during our School Family Assemblies and School Spirit Weeks!

ASL hires a professional photographer each year to take beautiful photos of our students and staff. These photos will be published in our annual school yearbook. Both the school photos and yearbook are available for staff and families to purchase.

Wednesda, Syeptember 20th - 3-5 & AISA
Thursday, September 21st - Tk-2
Wednesday, September 27th - Make-up Picture Day
Yearbook:
Our Assistant Director is responsible for putting together the ASL yearbook each year. We love it when staff take photos and share them so that we have plenty of photos to chose from for our yearbook. Yearbooks go on sale in the spring and get passed out to students during the last weeks of school in late May/early June.

ASL has a robust social calendar!
We participate in monthly School Family Assemblies and Buddy Days. We have special themed days such as the 100th Day of School, Friendship Day and Read Across America Day. Our 5th Grade Leadership Council plans thrice yearly spirit weeks. Our Aveson Advocacy Alliance helps support school-wide DEI months such as LatinX Heritage Month, LGBTQIA+ Spirit Week, Black History Month and Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The Aveson Community Organization plans many fundraising events such as Fall Fest, Read-A-Thon and June Jubilee.
