ASL has a robust social calendar!
We participate in monthly School Family Assemblies and Buddy Days. We have special themed days such as the 100th Day of School, Friendship Day and Read Across America Day. Our 5th Grade Leadership Council plans thrice yearly spirit weeks. Our Aveson Advocacy Alliance helps support school-wide DEI months such as LatinX Heritage Month, LGBTQIA+ Spirit Week, Black History Month and Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The Aveson Community Organization plans many fundraising events such as Fall Fest, Read-A-Thon and June Jubilee.
Staff should familiarize themselves with the ASL Social Calendar by clicking on the link below. In addition, all important dates both social and academic will be on the ParentSquare calendar. Staff should look to the ParentSquare calendar regularly.
