Google platform for all staff and student emails. We use the Google Drive for our shared work and some advisors use Google Classroom with their students.
School Pathways for our Student Information System (SIS). Advisors will take attendance, and manage progress reports and trascripts using School Pathways. Advisors will be trained on the SIS and receive log-in instructions during August PD. iSolved for our Human Resources managament system. Staff will use iSolved to request/enter their time off (as needed) and to see other important personal HR information. CampDoc for all of our after school camp registrations, after school enrichment class and school closure breaks (fall, spring, summer breaks). Families sign up and pay for camps/enrichment classes using this platform. Questions regarding CampDoc can be directed to our After School Camp Coordinator, Shannon Hunt at shannonhunt@aveson.org.
At ASL we use several digital platforms to support student learning:
Clever platform used as our single sign-on support so that staff and students do not have to log-in to multiple accounts. Staff and students will log-in to Clever using our district log-in: https://clever.com/in/aveson. Once there, staff and students will use their Google accounts to verify log-in.
iReady assessments and instructional learning paths for both literacy and math. New advisors will be trained in how to use iReady during August PD. iReady is synced to Clever and staff and students will access iReady via Clever.
GreatMinds digital resource for advisors. Math advisors can use this site to get ample math support in using the Eureka curriculum. GreatMinds is synced to Clever and staff and students will access GreatMinds via Clever.
Hand Writing Without Tears (HWT) digital resource for advisors. Tk - 2 advisors can use this site to supplement their handwriting curriculum. HWT will be synced to Clever and staff and students will access HWT via Clever.
BrainPop website can be used by all advisors to supplement lessons with fun interactive videos that students can watch as a whole class or on their own. We have a school account. Brainpop access: Login: ASL2022; Password: ASL2022
Mystery Science website can be used by all advisors to supplement lessons with fun interactive videos that students can watch as a whole class or on their own. We have a school account log-in: https://mysteryscience.com/start?code=school_2659. Once there, advisors will use their personal log-in and password to access the content.
Student Emails - all students are assigned an aveson email account: firstnamelastname@aveson.org. Students will need this account to work in the Drive and to access Clever. Student email support questions can be directed to our IT department at helpdesk@aveson.org
Instructional staff are issued an Aveson laptop to use which are distributed by our Human Resource and IT departments. Staff should see Jennifer Devenshire if they need support in acquiring a laptop. Staff should reach out to our IT department at helpdesk@aveson.org if they need help with their laptop's functionality.

Staff may use the photocopier in the staff lounge. There is not cody or copy limit. However, copies should be made sparingly and judiciously. The staff lounge copier is black and white. On occasion, staff may use the front office copier for color copies. Photocopier support can be directed to our Front Office Staff.
Each classroom is equipped with a printer for smaller printer needs and a TV monitor. If you need support with your classroom printer or TV monitor, staff should reach out to the Site Director and the IT department at helpdesk@aveson.org.
Each classroom is also equipped with a classroom phone and walkie talkie. Staff should refer to the phone extension list linked on the Quick Links page for numbers to other locations on campus. Walkies are used in addition to phone communication. Questions regarding walkie talkie use should be directed to the Assistant Director.
Other technology needs: laminators, document cameras, projectors, etc can be purchased using instructional staff instructional budget funds. Staff should consult with the Site Director before purchasing.
