Dr. Aditi Ghosh

About:

Dr. Aditi Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics department of UW-Whitewater. Her research interest is in Applied Mathematics namely mathematical modeling, Bio-Mathematics, disease and epidemics. She completed her Ph.D from Texas A&M University, College Station in Applied and Computational Mathematics. At UW-Whitewater she is highly engaged in undergraduate research, she works with students independently or infuses research while teaching a class of Mathematical modeling. Her students present their work in MAA section Wisconsin and UW-research day. She actively collaborates with UT southwestern medical center at Dallas for her work in drug induced liver injury and ischemic liver injury. She is also affiliated with IBA and is working on CURE 2019 with IBA. She is responsible for helping students participate in ICM/MCM modeling competitions. She also holds SCUDEM competition since 2 years in UW-Whitewater where students from nearby schools participate in a modeling competition. She also conducts a mathematical modeling club in UW-Whitewater where she directs students to conduct research in Mathematical modeling.
