Quantum Computational Intelligence (QCI) is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field that integrates the principles of quantum computing with artificial intelligence (AI) to develop highly efficient and intelligent systems. By harnessing the unique properties of quantum mechanics, QCI has the potential to solve complex problems at unprecedented speed and scale, paving the way for revolutionary advancements in optimization, machine learning, data analysis, and automated decision-making.
The Quantum Computational Intelligence Workshop is jointly organized by the IEEE Region 10 (Asia & Pacific) Educational Activities Committee (IEEE R10 EAC), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS), UniMAP MySTEM Ambassador Club, and Tech Dome Penang. This free, hands-on workshop, specifically designed for secondary school students, is proudly funded by the IEEE TryEngineering STEM Portal Grant.
Workshop Objectives
To Introduce the Fundamentals of QCI and AI: Equip students with a foundational understanding of QCI and AI, including their key concepts, computational models, and applications across modern industries.
To Ignite Interest in Future Technologies: Inspire both students and educators through engaging hands-on activities, interactive simulations, and real-world examples demonstrating the impact and potential of QCI and AI.
Participants will explore intelligent systems that can collect, process, and interact with data, visualizing insights, generating responses, and triggering hardware actions. These QCI&AI tools are connected to the QCI Learning Platform, facilitating real-time two-way communication and adaptive learning experiences.
