P5 CAMPING TRIP
At Kellands, we are always looking to offer high-quality outdoor learning interactions and experiences. As such, we are teaming up once again with our friends at Knockiehill Woodland Centre to provide a mega camping trip for our Primary 5 cohort in June 2025.
The objectives of the camp:
To have fun!
To explore the woodland, understand the type of trees and the wildlife within the area.
To gain a sense of independence.
To participate in a number of outdoor woodland-based activities.
The camping trips will be for 2 days / 1 night on the following dates:
P5C - depart: Monday 9th June // return: Tuesday 10th June
P5CS - depart: Wednesday 11th June // return Thursday 12th June
As with all trips, there is a cost. It is £92 per pupil. A suggested payment plan is below and details on how to pay have been emailed to all parents / carers.
Aberdeenshire Council has a grant scheme for families who might find it difficult to pay the full amount. Information on how to apply can be found HERE.
