Debutantes must wear a solid, black short-sleeved dress, black tights/pantyhose or nude pantyhose, and black shoes. The dress should be knee-length. It is recommended that you DO NOT wear a dress that is short or tight, because you will need to bend down and kneel in front of the audience as a part of the program. If the dress has spaghetti straps, wear a black sweater over it. Please review the guidelines in the Attire section of the manual.

Mothers/Mother figures and Fathers/Father Figures play a special part in this intimate ceremony and will need to be present at the ceremony. The Mothers/Mother figures and Fathers/Father Figures will review their part in the program with the Chairman on the day of the ceremony before it begins.
Mothers/Mother figures are asked to wear nude dresses (see below). Fathers/Father Figures are asked to wear a dark suit/jacket.
