Escort Criteria 

1.   Must be a male in High School (grades 9-12) or in College (freshman or sophomore, ages 18-19).

2.   Must demonstrate high moral standards (only single young men with no children).

3.   Must participate in all rehearsals unless there is a valid reason. (i.e. medical emergency, required school activity, family emergency)

4.   Must participate in the ball and presentation as an escort for the debutante until the conclusion of the event.  Escorts are to remain dressed during the Scholarship Ball and Debutante Presentation in Formal attire (Tuxedo) that the committee selects.

5.   Notify Debutante if involved in a Fall Sport.  She will be responsible for having an alternate Escort to attend the rehearsals and be to participate in the Ball if needed.

6.   Must have written agreement from both the escort and his parent/guardian of the commitment to participate as an Escort.  Such an agreement will also state that the Escort and the parent/guardian accept the responsibility associated with such participation.

7. Escorts' estimated fees:

              Formal Attire - approximate cost $240 - $300

              Ball and Presentation tickets for parents $125 - $135 each

Formal Wear Criteria

Escort For the Evening:

• Hair should be cut and/or styled to complement the tuxedo and the occasion (NATURAL HAIR COLORS PLEASE)

•  No earrings

(There is a $20.00 per day late fee if the rental is returned after Nov. 17th).

AFEE will provide gloves to fathers and escorts.
