2025 Debutante Process 

PRINT AD BIO and VOICEOVER BIO INSTRUCTIONS 

We are preparing to request Print Biographies (Bio) and scripts for the Recorded Introduction (Bio)  for each Debutante. The Foundation needs two versions of the bio, one for print and one for voiceover recording. 

PRINT BIOGRAPHY------ 

The souvenir ad booklet will include a picture and a bio for each debutante. Please find below the specifications for writing the Print Bio. An example is provided. Please stay within the length of the example shown below.  

Print Instructions – 

Keep in mind the following information that you should include in the Print Bio: 

     1. Your Name and Your Parent's Names 

2. Classification and High School 

3. High School Activities and Honors 

4. Extracurricular and Community Activities 

5. Religious Affiliation and Activities 

6. Hobbies or Interests 

7. College Plans 

8. Career Goal

Debutante Samantha Nicole Brown is the daughter of Anthony and Kathleen Brown. She is a  senior at James W. Martin High School in Arlington, TX. Samantha is a varsity tennis player and serves as co-captain for the 2022-2023 season. She is a current member of the Key Club and  Multicultural Alliance Club. As an EFX teen of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., she represents the  Arlington Chapter as a member of the Regional Nomination Committee. Samantha is a lifelong  member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and currently participates in the two-year College  Orientation Program. Samantha’s interests include playing tennis, horseback riding, reading,  helping others, and spending time with family and friends. Samantha’s college goal is to attend  Pepperdine’s Seaver College in Malibu, California or Texas Christian University in Fort Worth,  Texas. Her area of study will be Biology to pursue a career in the medical field. Her escort is  Kevin Stewart, son of Jill and Robert Stewart. He is a junior at Timberview High School.

VOICEOVER BIOGRAPHY------ 

Each Debutante will record her introduction during the dress approval on August 30, 2025. The voiceover recording will be featured as the debutante's introduction on the night of the ball.  

Voiceover Instructions - 

When you develop your Voiceover, please keep it to no more than the following 13 sentences.  

You will record the following sentences: 

1. Quote 

2. Greeting and Name 

3. Parents and High School 

4. No more than 3 school activities 

5. One community activity 

6. Church Affiliation 

7. Extracurricular Activities or Interests 

8. College and Career Plan 

9. Begin your sentence with Who Am I? and add your characteristics 

Voiceover Example: “Be the Change you wish to see in the World” by Mahatma Gandhi is the quote that encompasses my mission in life. Hello, I am...Debutante Samantha Nicole Brown. I am the daughter of Anthony and Kathleen Brown, and I am a senior at James W. Martin High School in Arlington.
