Gentle & Manly is designed to be a hair care and skin care package for men, whether bearded or smooth as a newborn. “Men of all ages deserve a dignified shave.” This tagline is the mission statement of the product. A vintage textured product helping men get in touch with old school shaving and beard care. The men of the past had their faults, But they more often than not took their appearance seriously. The logo and packaging reflect the types of men that are most likely to buy this package. Slick and simple design, crossed with rugged and stoic imagery and textures. The textures are achieved through linoleum block printing. The off white of the bottles is made to make the paper look aged. The labels are reminiscent of the labels on old tincture bottles sold around the golden age of gentlemen in America.
