Cheyenne Baker

My name is Cheyenne Baker “casettetapegirl” and I am a designer and illustrator. When I am not designing you can find me at concerts rocking out with friends and thinking about what to design next for that band. Music has been a staple in my life from a very young age, and has been an outlet that has helped me express my artistic vision. My work focuses on the use of recyclable and forgotten media to create iconic images that most of the general public would recognize. Working with cassette tapes can be a very meticulous medium, helping to balance out my fast paced work ethic as a graphic designer. My current work can be viewed as a bridge between fine arts and design, creating a link between two different approaches. While my work has evolved with experimentation through size, color, and collage, I hope it can still convey a nostalgic feeling to the audience.
