Learning Skills & Work Habits
The development of learning skills and work habits is an integral part of a student’s learning. As students move through the grades, they develop and consolidate the learning skills and work habits necessary to be successful in post-secondary education, and the workforce. Evaluation of learning skills and work habits is distinct from the evaluation of curriculum expectations in a subject or course, and is not considered in the determination of a student’s grades. Learning skills and work habits are reported on each term, and include the following categories:
Responsibility
Organization
Independent Work
Collaboration
Initiative
Self-regulation
