Caring for personal and public property.
Anti-Hate
We stand against expressions of bias, prejudice, and bigotry that promote hatred against identifiable groups of people.
Classrooms
Classroom rules are established in collaboration with teachers, and may vary slightly in different classrooms or with different teachers. These rules are intended to promote student safety, respect individual differences and needs, and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning.
Hallways
When in the hallways, student activity always respects teaching, learning, and school safety.
K-12 Boundaries
Students respect the boundaries between PECI Elementary and PECI Secondary, at all times, while inside and outside the school building.
Loitering
Students remain in their classrooms during instructional time, and gather in designated common areas only during non-instructional time.
Morning Exercises
During the Land Acknowledgement and National Anthem, members of our school community pause and remain still and silent as they listen and reflect on an individual basis. Students actively listen to announcements.
Washrooms
Students respect everyone’s need to feel safe, and have a sense of privacy while in the washroom. Students use washrooms for their intended purpose, and leave as soon as possible following use.
