" I experienced challenges in my time with APEC, just like everyone else. I've also had a grade of 3, particularly in math. It took me a long time because math isn't my area of expertise until I was able to handle it in grade 10. I prefer studying social studies and the sciences over math. Despite receiving grades I never imagined, I was still able to be a student that my classmates and the learning facilitators could trust in the classroom. Even if I didn't do well in math, I was still a responsible student and leader. During my time in junior high school, I served as a class officer, and in my last year of high school, I was elected as the president of the student council. It gives me enormous comfort to know that, regardless of my shortcomings, I can still excel in some things. Thanks to my facilitators, who entrusted me with these duties and mentored me during my six years with APEC, I was able to prove my capabilities and grow as a student leader. Lastly, I graduated with a Math Domain Proficiency in which I felt most proud of myself because the journey to achieve such an award wasn’t easy. "
" I entered high school as a shy student who was reluctant to leave her comfort zone. Even though it was difficult, I was able to get through it thanks to my instructors and classmates. While attending Apec was a culture shock, it also served as my training ground for professional success. It has been my benchmark for developing future leaders and professionals. I have a special place in my heart for Apec. I will always be appreciative of how Apec trained me to always strive for excellence. "
" I don’t have anything special to share but I somehow consider my survival in Grade 10 last school years as my APEC Success Story. During the start of school year 2021-2022, I was doing well but as day passes by, I started to get physically and mentally drained which became the reason why I decided to have an academic break this year. Every time it’s near the quarter’s end, I’m always overwhelmed with tasks. Even though the tasks are getting harder and harder every quarter, I still fought hard so I could get good and high grades. The second quarter is the lowest point of my Grade 10 experience. Luckily, I have a best friend who helps me do the tasks I’m struggling to do. As Quarter 3 started, I finally adjusted to everything but there are times that I really struggle. I had straight-6 grades during the third and fourth quarter which made me happy after seeing them. I consider this as my success story because I survived Grade 10 with high grades even though I struggle dealing with my mental health and schoolworks at the same time."
" I received sophisticated instruction that gave me a wealth of information in just two years. Being able to attend an APEC school and being a previous APEC student gratifies me."
" I started studying at APEC since I was in grade 7 (2017). I was a deadbeat kid and I did not have any direction. I do not care at all about my grades. But a few months in, APEC and with the help of LFs, taught me to get straight. I started caring for my academic standing and they also helped me hone my leadership and communication skills. After all these years with APEC, I managed to take on challenges I never even imagined that I could handle. From a deadbeat kid to a president of the SC. From a kid who could not even lead himself, to a person empowering and encouraging his fellow students to be better each day. "
