APEC-Roxas had a contest for each branch of APEC Schools, ‘Dress Up Your Branch’ to celebrate the return to school. The theme is Filipino Festival, which explains the colorful banderitas. Together with the Learning Facilitators, Student Council, and some students that helped with the creation of decorations, the branch built a photo booth, an entrance welcome design, and banderitas. Special mention to Howard Valencia and Ned David for helping in this event, it has been postponed but stay tuned for the winner!
Last November 18 2022, APEC Roxas Staff held a Parents Assembly led by Ms. Geraldine Zamora and Mr. John Joseph Reyes. The event was divided into two shifts: for Junior High (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) and for Senior High (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
Parents of students in grades 7-10 attended the first-ever face-to-face Parents Assembly, also known as Parent Coffee, during the morning session. At the first part of the program, the staff of APEC-Roxas together with the parents and JHS students did a doxology to start the program with a blessing from God, followed by an icebreaker with the parents that was in line with the event. Mr. Zoilo Reyes, the school principal, led the discussion regarding the collaboration of APEC with other companies as well as the new announcements about the upcoming events of APEC Roxas. The new staff of APEC Roxas was also introduced.
During the student-led discussion, each participant from grade 7 to grade 10 shared one of their grade level's memorable moments and an output they were proud of.
The Student Council also discussed the projects and programs that they launched at the start of the school year, one of which was a donation for Typhoon Paeng and fire victims. This Student Council project was also a collaboration with the Kabataan Party-List.
