Players from teams White Wolves, Orange Panthers, Blue Hawks, and Gray Hounds fought for their team’s championship in sports chess, scrabbles, and table tennis last February 15. Board games were moderated by Miss Leddy Lou Bartol, a learning facilitator, while table tennis was done through the provision of Sir Zoilo Reyes, the school principal.
In the elimination round of chess, players Manuel Calvelo III (White Wolves) vs. Denise Allison Dimayacyac (Blue Hawks) and Emmanuelle Joshua Tayag (Orange Panthers) vs. Maui Rodriguez (Gray Hounds) fought for the battle of the championship, which players from the White Wolves and Orange Panthers won. In the battle for the championship, Emmanuelle Joshua Tayag from the Orange Panthers won against Manuel Calvelo III from the White Wolves, while Denise Allison (Blue Hawks) won against Maui (Gray Hounds) for the battle of the third.
The Orange Panthers swept other teams in scrabble, as both of their players, Carlyle and Ashiville, won the championship and the 1st place title. Alexies from White Wolves, however, took 2nd place, Dani from Gray Hounds won the 3rd place, and their partners won the 4th place title.
Table tennis players Marion (Blue Hawks) and Aaron (White Wolves) fought against each other wherein Marion from Blue Hawks won. Unfortunately Carlyle from Orange Panthers was disqualified due to some reason—thus Marion (Blue Hawks) and Emmanuel (Gray Hounds) faced each other wherein Emmanuel from Gray Hounds buried Marion of Blue Hawks. Emmanuel won the championship title while Marion stood in first place, Aaron in second place, and Carlyle in third place.
