BEATNIKS - PERCUSSION AND DRUMS IN WORLD MUSIC

INTRODUCTION 

In this course we are going to look at a range of music written for un-pitched percussion instruments; from the 'tabla' of India, to the Djembe of North-Western Africa and everywhere in between. We'll study and play music in a range of styles and have fun while we develop a broad range of musical skills as a music ensemble.
