End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Globally: Poverty is defined by the United Nations, as living on less than $1.90 a day. Further, the manifestations of poverty include hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination and exclusion as well as the lack of participation in decision-making. Economic growth must be inclusive to provide sustainable jobs and promote equality."
Meadville: Poverty means food insecurity, lack of stable housing, difficulty obtaining or meeting adequate health care, and inability to take advantage of opportunities to improve the financial situation.
