Listen to this story about Splat the Cat.
Afterwards, look on your bookshelf and in your room to see if you still have any library books at home. If you find any, ask an adult to return them to the school. They can drop the books in one of the two big boxes at gate 1.

After the story, if you have a printer print the worksheet below or, on a sheet of paper you can draw two bins, one for recycling and one for compost. Write the words for the different kinds of trash in the correct bins.

After the story, make a monkey face. If you have a printer you can print the face below and add happy, sad, scared, or grumpy eyes, eyebrows and mouth. You can use clay or playdough to make different faces, or use crayons or markers. If you don't have a printer, draw the monkey face yourself!
If you want, ask an adult to help you add your picture to this board.
