Among your computer, printer, stapler
Instead of your family, your friends, the things that matter
Life has become like a grainy black and white tv
There are no channels
There are no colors
The same show on repeat
Playing the same episode every day
You get all dressed up, with nowhere to go
Spending weekends with the same friends you used to know
Nothing in this town has changed
Living down the street from my childhood home
Just to have kids again and repeat the cycle
