Fraction Review

This unit happens right before MCA testing. We will be reviewing fraction skills that will be assessed on the state test. Student will also be introduced to multiplying and dividing fractions, though these are not assessed nor a 5th grade standard.
Skills and Goals:
- review comparing, ordering, and equivalent fractions
- review adding/subtracting fractions and mixed numbers (bare number and story problems)
- order fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals on the same number line
- multiply fractions and mixed numbers (not a 5th grade standard, nor assessed)
- divide fractions and mixed numbers (not a 5th grade standard, nor assessed)
