Exponents and Order of Operations
This unit begins our look at algebra. Students will learn how to plug in parenthesis to to make a number sentence true. They will use the order of operation rules to solve number sentences with multiple operations. Students will match number expressions to the proper story problem that it represents. Students will learn about the properties of multiplication and how to use them. Finally, students will represent data by creating a proper line graph for that data.
