Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

PLTW students engage in hands-on activities, projects, and problems that are reflective of real-world challenges. This compelling, real-world approach empowers students to learn essential, in-demand skills validated by the world’s leading companies, while also providing an invaluable connection between what students are learning in the classroom today and how it applies to the paths they’ll take in the future.

AHS has PLTW programs in Biomedical Science, Engineering, and Computer Science.

Students can earn college credit by achieving a certain score on their PLTW End of Course Exams. To receive college credit for PLTW courses students must submit an application and tuition fees to the school of their choice. College credit for PLTW classes is available through Missouri S&T, University of Central Missouri, St. Louis Community College and many others.
