Course Description: This course is an elective course that is designed to help support English Language Learning students in all of their academic goals. This is a multi level course that provides resources for students in the areas of testing and meeting objectives of mainstream courses. In this class students learn various skills such as: studying, organization, note-taking, and test taking strategies.

Students will receive direct, integrated English class support to understand assignments, tackle complex texts, and build confidence, ensuring they are on the path to earning all of their credits required for graduation

Course Description: This course provides targeted English language instruction for newcomer students at the Welcome Level. Instruction focuses on building immediate proficiency in the four language domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will acquire essential social and instructional language necessary for daily communication in a high school setting, while simultaneously receiving focused academic support to navigate their core content classes. The goal is to rapidly equip students with the foundational language and skills for initial success in their new educational environment.
