GCSE Revision

All students at TEC are encouraged and required to engage in independent study throughout their time at secondary school.

Students in year 11 in particular are advised to engage in at least five hours of independent study of mathematics per week, regardless of if formal homework has been set for that period or not.

Students in year 10 would be wise to begin building their revision habits early, aiming for at least twenty minutes of independent study per night.

Students in year 9 and below should begin to engage in regular reviews of their learning at home, at leaston days they have had a maths lesson, to aid in consolidation of knowledge and skills.

There is a plethora of information available on the internet to help with revision for maths! Here are a couple to get you started:

MathsWatch - you will need to log in - ask your Maths teacher if you have lost or forgotten your credentials.
