PSHE Curriculum Intent

Through PSHE, the children at Hamford Primary Academy will develop the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to thrive as individuals within their community. Our curriculum will raise the aspirations of our children who will become confident, resilient individuals, preparing them for Modern Britain.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on three core themes within which there will be broad overlap and flexibility across each key stage.  

• Relationships

• Living in the Wider World

• Health and Well-Being 

Each term, children will develop their knowledge and understanding of each theme in the hope that children develop not only as independent learners, but also as confident young people prepared for the next step in their lives.
