Our Nursery Classes

Beacon Academy Nursery classes are housed in a modern,  purpose-built nursery on the same site as Beacon Academy.   We have spacious rooms and surrounding gardens which offer an excellent environment for outdoor learning and our staff hold a range of qualifications, skills, knowledge and aptitudes to enable us to provide an exciting and challenging learning environment for your child.   The Children and Family Wellbeing Centre is situated conveniently in the same building.

Beacon Nursery classes offer care and education from 8.45am - 3.15pm  daily during term time.  Most children attend part-time for a daily morning session or for a daily afternoon session, some children stay all day.

Classes are arranged into different age groups with age-appropriate equipment and resources:

• Ladybird Room - 2 and 3 year olds

• Butterfly Room - 3 and 4 year olds

• Caterpillar Room - SEND specialist nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds

FREE NURSERY PLACES funded by the government are available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours per week and some 2 years olds may also be eligible for free hours.
