Welcome to Year 3 at Beacon Academy! This year promises to be an exciting journey filled with learning, discovery, and new experiences. Get ready to build friendships, challenge yourself, and achieve your goals. 

You will be part of either Class Wren or Class Robin, guided by your wonderful teachers, Mrs. Young or Mrs. Manani and supported by highly skilled and qualified teaching assistance. 

 Throughout the year, we will explore fascinating topics such as the Indus Valley Civilization and Ancient Egypt in two of our six History topics. We will dive into fantastic books like The BFG and Cloud Busting just to name a few. 

You will also have the chance to improve your swimming skills in our very own school pool, and be taught by specialist swimming and PE instructors.

In science, we will investigate the areas of Light and shadow , The Human Body, and Plants, just to name a few exciting topics. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet a real farmer and visit a Mandir to enrich your learning experience. Get ready for an unforgettable year of fun, growth, and adventure!
