Friends of Barton

• Friends of Barton ("FOB") or the PTA is run by volunteer parents and friends of the school with the aim of raising funds for the benefit of the school through events and other fundraising.

• Often people think FOB is run by the school but this is not the case. Behind the scenes are just dedicated parents, teachers and friends who want to provide the best for the children and the school.

• Any money that we raise each year is for the benefit of the school and the children. However, this is only made possible because of any functions/events we organise.  Events we would like to run are school discos, quiz nights, Christmas fayre, summer fete but will only go ahead because of the volunteer parents and teachers. 

• Our sole aim is to raise funds for the benefit of the school, we are always open to new ideas and always welcome new volunteers. If you have links or skills that could help us, then please get in touch. Everyone is always welcome to volunteer for any of our events and details can be found on the FOB notice board (located in the School foyer), or in the weekly newsletter .
