Algebraic topics include: algebraic expressions, factoring, rational expressions, linear & quadratic equations, nonlinear systems of non - linear equations, graphing in the coordinate plane, right angle and non-right angle trigonometry. Algebraic skills will be incorporated in all topics of Geometry.
*Upon successful completion of this virtual course, students will be required to take a face-to-face placement test, which will be scheduled a week after the final exams, to determine accurate placement in their next on-campus Mathematics course at ACS Athens:
To progress from Geometry with Algebraic Topics to Algebra 2 & Trigonometry, students must earn a passing grade on both their Geometry with Algebraic Topics Regular virtual course and the face-to-face placement test.
