The Acton Memorial Library, the Sargent Memorial Library in Boxborough, and the Citizens Library in West Acton organize free programs for adults and children.
Adult Classes : AB Community Ed , Acton Recreation Department and Boxborough Recreation Department organize adult classes as well as many for profit businesses. AB Fitness (age 14+ and adults) at the high school - calendar here.

Every year, on a Saturday before Christmas, the Acton Fire department ensures Santa and the Grinch drive through Acton in an old fire truck, stops at specific publicized stops, to give out candy and collect food for the Acton Food Pantry.
