Run by Acton-Boxborough United Way staff and volunteers, AB Resource Center (ABRC) is centrally located at the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District Administration Building thanks to a partnership with the district.
We are open to anybody living, working or worshipping in Acton or Boxborough, any age, you don't need to have kids in the schools!
Please see our List of Donations Currently Accepted.
Drop in to talk with one of our volunteer greeters. They are happy to answer your questions about Acton and Boxborough, refer you to local resources, and help you access what you need to thrive (free clothing, shoes, school supplies, backpacks etc) in the AB Exchange. Monday-Thursday 10AM-3PM (first Thursday of the month till 7pm).
ABRC follows the AB Schools closures for a snow day/delay. We are closed on state/federal holidays but open on school holidays that are not state/federal holidays.
We also organize English conversations for English language learners of any level, Monday through Thursday 1pm at the AB Resource Center. No sign-up needed, no regular schedule needed. Just come when you can! If you prefer to do conversations via zoom, email Piña at pina@abuw.org to setup a day/time.
If you have specific longer questions or need help to fill in a form, email abrc@abuw.org in your language to request a time for a specific language.
Discover local resources anytime on our Resource Site. Explore by topic or use the search feature to look for something specific.
