At Scotstown, we use a program called Seesaw to help share your child’s learning journey and strengthen communication between school and home. Seesaw allows school staff to record and track your child’s progress, identify their next steps, and provide the support they need to succeed.
One of the best things about Seesaw is that it lets us share your child’s learning with you digitally. You’ll be able to see photographs, read key observations, and celebrate achievements as they happen. There’s also a feature for you to share your own observations from home, so those special developmental moments outside school can be part of their learning story too.
Seesaw access codes are issued at the start of the school year or when your child enrols. If you don’t have a code, please let your child’s class teacher know so they can provide one for you.
We encourage parents and carers to interact with the posts we share—your comments and feedback help build a strong partnership and show your child that their learning matters both at school and at home.
To use Seesaw, we need your completed photographic permission form. Please see the guides below for more information.
