Composite Classes

Composite classes are a normal part of school life and are created to ensure balanced class sizes and the best possible learning experiences for all pupils. At Scotstown, we carefully plan composite classes so that children continue to access the full curriculum and high-quality teaching.

Our teachers differentiate learning to meet individual needs, and pupils benefit from opportunities to work with peers across different stages, building confidence and social skills. Please be assured that being in a composite class does not limit progress or opportunities – every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
