Medical & First Aid

Within the school and nursery, a number of staff members are trained in first aid and are available to support pupils when needed. If a pupil becomes unwell or a First Aider feels that additional medical advice is required, parents or carers will be contacted and asked to collect their child so that appropriate guidance can be sought. In the event of a medical emergency, staff will contact the emergency services immediately. At the same time, another member of staff will contact the child’s parent or carer to inform them of the situation.
