Induction Timeline

In order for your child to settle into Primary 1, it is important that the induction timeline is followed so that there is a smooth transition for them. Please see the flowchart below which outlines timings for the first two weeks back after summer.

Important notes to consider:

Week 1:

Classes will be split into two groups and you will be notified which group along with your Phonological Awareness appointment time within the last fortnight before summer. Your child will only be in 2 half days and one full day during their first week at school.

Week 2:

First full week of school.

Please note that school will be closed over the September weekend.
