Fanzine

Problem Description:

You are going to create a short fan magazine or fanzine on something that interests you. It could be about a television series or film that you like, or about a hobby that you have, or even a sports club that you are a member of You can include any information you think is relevant.

Your teacher will provide you with the Extra Extra Fanzine Worksheet via Google Classroom.

Show your ability to use PagePlus to create magazines by:

• Including text
• Formating text
• Including pictures
• Framing pictures appropriately

Additionally, show the following advanced skills to achieve level 4

• Create an empty layout prior to importing content
• Import text and pictures correctly without copying and pasting
• Use shapes to format the magazine
• Use a master page to make parts of the magazine appear on each page automatically
• Complete your magazine so it matches your design, or you are able to justify why there have been changes from your design

Show your ability to search, process and manage information by

• Work out what information you will require for your magazine
• Create plain text documents to import into your magazine
• Include the required information in your magazine

Your worksheet, any plain text content files and magazine should be submitted electronically via Google Classroom. Hand in your paper wireframe diagram to your teacher.
