Out of the Window

Purpose:

To visually communicate your surroundings to an audience who knows little about you;

To push your creative problem-solving skills by photographing within a limited area.

What do you see when you look out of your bedroom window? How many different perspectives

can you capture? Photograph at least 10 different images while looking out of your bedroom

window(s).

Photograph other areas/spaces where you live, inside or outside.

Photograph at least 30 images

Upload all your images to iphoto and print a contact sheet (file-print-contact sheet-customize-5 rows-print-two sided.

To prepare your images for Ning Post: In iphoto, File-export-custom-change to 640-export to desktop before uploading to Ning

Post the Ning:

• • 1 strong image that describes what you see out of your bedroom window.

  • Explain what you see out of your bedroom window. Use as many descriptive words as possible so the viewer can really understand what it must be like to look out of your window. Use at least 4 compete and thoughtful sentences in your explanation.
