Drawing Portfolio

At the end of the Drawing Unit you will turn in a Drawing Portfolio.

This is a collection of the work you have done throughout the Drawing Unit.

The goal of this collection is to look at your drawing progress over time, from your

pre-instructional drawing to you final drawing.

The following items*, signed and dated, should be included in your portfolio.

2 Blind Contour Drawing

Modified Contour Drawing of Hand Holding an object

Perspective Drawing - Buildings in one & two point perspective

Perspective Sheet of Cubes and Cylinders

2 Gesture Drawings (small white paper)

4 small thumbnail sketches (newsprint)

Final Composition sketch (white paper)

Final Still-Life Drawing (on brown paper)

3 Blind Contours, including one with opposite hand
Modified Blind Contour of hand holding object
Perspective Sheet (cubes, cylinders, spheres)
One-Point perspective sheet
Two-point perspective sheet
Continuous line drawing of shoe
2 continuous line drawings of still life (small white paper)
thumbnail sketches of still life
white/black charcoal practice (small brown paper)
Final Still-Life Drawing (on brown paper)
