Women dominate! ASSAT strengthens workforce

The world is a stage where each person plays a character. When a specific character comes to an end, the actor gracefully heads backstage to give way to a new person who plays another character . This time, ASSAT’s curtains open for the individuals for us to see what characters they are to portray.

MRS. MERIAM UGMAD CULTURA

Graduated in AB-BSE major in English at Philippine Normal University-Agusan Campus on 1988 as a Service Awardee. Year after, she took and passed the Civil Service Professional Examination and Philippine Board Examination for Teachers on November 27, 1988. She started to work in this school as a Secondary School Teacher on June13, 1989. After eleven years she was promoted as Teacher II on March 8, 2000. Two years passed she became a Teacher III on February 15, 2002. It was December 19 of the same year that she was reclassified as Instructor I. Through the implementation of NBC 461 she was ranked as Assistant Professor II on November 1, 2008. Recently she is now the Head Teacher III of the Related Subjects Department. She is also a holder of Commercial Cooking NC II and Dressmaking NC II.

MRS. JOY ESCOBAR DEROCA

MRS. MARICEL OROSCO BALINTON

Graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Saint Francis Xavier College on March 21 , 2001 and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers on August 25 , 2002. Her work experience in this institution started as a clerk aide in November 3, 1988 and was promoted to Administrative Aide III in January 1 , 2004. She was then promoted to Instructor I on November 14, 2013. She is a trainer and assessor as well for Beauty Care NC II and Hairdressing NC II.

ANICET DELA VICTORIA MARIANO

Graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Physical Education major in Sports and minor in Recreation at Mindanao State University – Marawi City on April 2-3, 2003. She passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers on August 21, 2008. She was employed in ASSAT as a contractual PE Instructor in June 2006 and eventually became competent as a trainer and assessor for welding (SMAW, GTAW and GMAW). She was became a Casual instructor last October 1, 2012 and was promoted to Instructor I on November 14, 2013.

Graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Philippine Normal University - Agusan Campus on March 30, 2011 and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers on September 25, 2011. She started to work in this institution as Contractual Instructor and Assistant at the Planning and Assessment Office last July 2011 and became a regular instructor on November 14, 2013 handling Basic English in CBT and English Subjects for the Three-Year Curriculum.
