ASSAT Joins 30th NSM Celebration

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issues a Memorandum Circular No. 2019-07 enjoining all agencies of the government, local government units, academic institutions, state universities and colleges, and the private sector at the national and sub-national levels to actively participate in and support the celebration of the 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) and conduct of the 14th National convention on Statistics (NCS) this month with the theme “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation.”

In this light, the Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades (ASSAT) hosted a quiz bowl today, October 1, 2019, in the multimedia room where six groups composed of three members vied for the top three spots.

The contest kicked off with Mrs. Myra M. Divinagracia stating the context and rationale of the celebration while the quiz master Engr. Gladis Grace Restauro announced the mechanics of the game in three phases: easy, average and hard questions.

First Year Electrical Engineering Technology students composed of Louie G. Tinaja, Jonathan S. Mabala and Marlon E. Alvarez aced other contending groups while Warren A. Bustamante, Orly Mayl L. Duro and Jungie M. Miranda from Second Year Electrical Engineering Technology students ranked in second as Second Year Automotive Technology students composed of Mamerto T. Espejon, Jr., Jesnar N. Coralde and Ramel Pugahan came in third. ### AMKistadio
