WOW!!! What a GREAT day of racing yesterday!!! Too many PRs to count and I have not had a chance to finish and pour through the results. It's great to see that the hard work and workouts are paying big dividends!! Congrats to our shirt winners up at the Tom Watson Mustang Stampede:
Ben Foggia - 9th & Sawyer Wilson - 10th in the MS Race
Ivan Kryzanowksi - 10th & Evan Thomas - 19th in the JV Gold Race
Louis Tousignant - 5th, Nolan Williams - 9th, & Kyle Mittendorff - 24th in the the JV SIlver Race
A BIG shout out to Coach Gustafson and Coach Raymond for taking our JV & MS Runners up to Chippewa Middle and LOTS of great races!!
The Roy Griak Invitational is more competitive than the MSHSL State Meet, with teams coming from Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, and even Florida!! Our varsity team was 29th overall but the 17th best Minnesota team in the Championship Race. (Well over 100 Minnesota teams competed in 4 different races.) Benaiah Breker led the charge with a blistering time of 15:51 for a 5K (3.1 miles)!!!

This week is a little different, please take a look at the schedule. Yesterday I spoke with some of the runners who have afternoon/evening conflicts for tomorrow, so we moved the Monday practice to 8:00am. There is NO BUS for the meet on Saturday, runners/families are on their own for transportation. We have done this for several years and it works quite well. I will keep putting information/links on the AHS CC 2026 - Meet Line-Ups so that it can be your "one stop shop" for meet information.

Monday, 9/21 - Practice 8:00-10:00am
Tuesday, 9/22 - Practice 3:30-5:30pm
Wednesday, 9/23 - Practice 3:30-5:30pm
Thursday, 9/24 - Mile Time Trial #2 - meet on the track at 4:15pm (bring your spikes)
Friday, 9/25 - Practice 3:30-5:00pm (DBR - bring all of your race gear home)
Saturday, 9/26 - RACE DAY - NO BUS - MEET IN EDEN PRAIRIE
Monday, 9/21 - Practice 8:00-10:00am - meet in back at AHS
Tuesday, 9/22 - Practice 4:15-6:00pm (PMS - meet by GaGa ball pits)
Wednesday, 9/23 - Run on your own
Thursday, 9/24 - Mile Time Trial - walk over to AHS & meet on the track at 4:15pm (bring your spikes)
Friday, 9/25 - Run on your own (DBR)
Saturday, 9/26 - RACE DAY - NO BUS - MEET AT FLYING CLOUD FIELDS IN EDEN PRAIRIE
