Section VI Meet
It was a cool and cloudy day as the Falcons got ready for the section meet. The heavy rains from the day before left some spots on the course slippery and muddy but that didn't discourage the runners from getting out there and having a great race! Junior, Gabriel Wiegert, led the way for the Falcons with a time of 16 minutes and 37 seconds. Adam Marable and Sam Majewski battled each other throughout the race and in turn both set their PR's with a time of 17 minutes and 21 seconds! Senior, Andrew Brincks, set his PR on his last race as a Falcon! Although the team and no runners qualified for state, it was a fun season for the runners and fans alike! Thank you, coaches!
Lefty Wright Invite
It was another very successful Lefty Wright Invite! Coach Stephens, Coach Woelfle, and Coach Hubred spent many hours behind the scenes making sure that this event ran flawlessly! Also, a big THANK YOU to all the parents who volunteered at this event!
The course was slightly different this year but that didn't seem to matter to many of the Armstrong runners. There was a big hill added this year (some called it, "Heartbreak Hill") that slowed the overall times of the runners. Even with this added hill there were some very impressive times set by the Falcon runners. Once again, freshman, Griffin Schmidt and Tyler Knutson, battled one another throughout the race. They finished fifth and sixth in their race with times of 18:46 and 18:47 respectfully. There was also an impressive 9 PR's set on this day. Eighth grader, Heath Wilson, set his by an incredible 2 minutes and 24 seconds!

Roy Griak Invitational
It was a cooler but humid day for the Falcons to race. With the state meet moving away from St. Olaf it was also a chance for the runners to race the course that will host this year's state meet. This was a varsity race only and the team placed a respectable 10th out of 38 teams in the gold race. With a crowded field and with several teams from out of Minnesota there were no PR's set on this day. Gabriel Wiegert, had an impressive race and led the Falcons with a time of 18 minutes flat!
Metro Invite
It was a gorgeous fall night for possibly the first night race in Falcon history. (At least the first in quite some time). A beautiful sunset led to a cool night for all of the racers! The other crowd favorie, Chela Guzman-Wiegert, was a late entry but really got the crowd into it with her grit and determination!
